Accounts Administrator - Purchase Ledger - Southampton


An Accounts Administrator with strong Purchase ledger skills is required by our client based near Southampton, Hampshire. A salary of £19,000 basic is available.

The Accounts Administrator will take charge of Purchase Ledger within a small team and will be responsible for processing account payable paperwork ensuring that supplier invoices and payments are processed within deadlines. 

The Accounts Administrator will be working with the company’s suppliers checking prices and figures on an ongoing basis. You will reconcile supplier statements and raise queries with suppliers and pursue credit claims where relevant.

Required skills:
- Previous experience of purchase ledger
- Experience liaising with supplier or creditors
- Strong attention to detail and good time management

This is an ideal role for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Administrator who is used to meeting deadlines.

Salary:
Basic salary to £19,000 plus pension.
