Payroll & Finance Officer - Accountancy Practice - London


An experienced Payroll and Finance Officer is required by a well established small accountancy practice based in Central London.

The successful candidate will have sole responsibility for the in-house payroll system and Auto Enrolment set up, the role involves supporting the in-house bookkeeping function, and assisting with monthly accounts and VAT Returns.

The successful candidate will have proven payroll and bookkeeping experience and will be supporting the partners and senior staff to provide both these services to clients.

Required Skills / Responsibilities:
·         Monthly and quarterly payroll processing
·         Preparation of year end payroll forms and returns
·         Set up and processing to ensure Auto Enrolment requirements are met
·         Manual and computerised bookkeeping
·         Preparation of VAT Returns
·         Various administrative tasks to include corresponding with HMRC
