Accounts Administrator - AAT - Southampton

An Accounts Administrator is required by our client based near Southampton, Hampshire. This is a trainee role for an organised professional looking to develop their career in Accounting. A salary of £22,000 basic is available.

The Accounts Administrator will take responsibility for day-to-day accounting of two companies and a wide range of tasks covering support for purchase ledger and credit control as well as assist in the production of management accounts and payroll processing. Previous experience is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is AAT qualified and working towards higher qualifications (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent). You must have strong MS Office skills as well as strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills:
- Strong Accounts Administration skills
- Strong skills in Credit Control and Purchase Ledger
- Experience liaising with supplier or creditors
- AAT Qualified
- MS Office skills

This is an ideal role for an experienced Accounts Administrator with AAT and a strong mix of credit control and purchase ledger knowledge.

Basic salary to £22,000 plus pension.
