Job Brief
An existing client of CV Screen registered an urgent Accounts Assistant vacancy to join their finance department in London.
The company specified that the candidate should have a maximum of two weeks’ notice as they wanted a handover with their existing Accounts Assistant who was leaving.
The role would support the finance team with a wide range of duties from reconciling accounts, to credit control to assisting with management accounts.
Recruitment Process
With the urgency required, we conducted a search on our database for candidates with immediate availability as our first port of call. This enabled us to find three candidates who matched the job brief who we interviewed and forwarded to our client – this was done within 24 hours and resulted in all three securing interviews.
A teams interview was the first stage and resulted in one candidate (Asma) being invited to the offices in London to run through the opportunity in a little more detail. This was largely a meet and greet process and resulted in an offer for Asma.
About Asma
Asma’s previous role was a one-year contract and that had ended three weeks earlier. Asma has AAT qualifications and was looking for a role which offered the opportunity to progress, she was ideally looking for a permanent role to provide her with more job security and the role CV Screen highlighted ticked all boxes.
Asma started her new role within 1 week of the role being registered with CV Screen.
