Job Brief
A Chartered Practice based in Buckinghamshire registered a vacancy for a candidate with previous Practice experience to join their growing team.
The company employ 25 members of staff and ideally required the candidate to have experience of Software used within a Practice environment.
Recruitment Process
Sourcing candidates with Practice experience is always a challenge for recruiters, but we have built up an excellent knowledge of how to source talent in this area.
Our initial search focussed on looking for candidates with XERO and Iris (as we had identified that this was the software used by our client).
We also advertised the role on the leading job boards, which provided us with over 30 applicants (of whom only 3 had a relevant profile). The net result was that we managed to shortlist and interview four candidates who matched the job brief.
About Todd
Todd applied for the role via one of the leading job boards, he was in the process of relocating from the South West to Buckinghamshire and was currently working in an Accountancy Practice in Bath.
His initial interview was conducted via Teams, before he was invited up to meet the team and to have a second interview. After an impressive 2nd stage, Todd was offered the role and gladly accepted.
His three month notice period provided him with additional time for his relocation and he has settled fantastically well within his new role.
